About The Steroid ExperimentHi, I'm Troy Surewood ("Woody"). I'll be posting up to my blog here on how my journey into steroids goes. In researching the use of steroids, an honest approach and log of it’s usage was not something I came across. Therefore, the aim of this blog is to give an honest account of that usage.
The reasons for using steroids are that I have found I've plateaued. For some reason, I've always said to myself that I wouldn't do steroids before the age of 30. I think the reasons were in-case I ever wanted to become particularly competitive at a sport. For example, I got quite good at rowing (6m35s for 2000m) and considered that if I wanted to get competitive, then steroids wouldn't be applicable for this. Now that I'm 30, my intention is to focus on the bodybuilding aspect, which is to do with being competitive against yourself in my opinion (pushing yourself further) than competing with other sportsmen. In addition, it's not until this age that testosterone is likely to start reducing all that significantly (even for 30 I doubt it's started dropping all that much from what I've read). Having amassed some knowledge of steroid usage, the pro's, the con's I've decided to take the step, and to do my first steroid cycle. This blog will track that usage, and give an honest account (along with some facts and figures) of the usage as well as documenting any side affects. My concerns of using steroids are the side-effects as I'm sure you will have read about if you found this blog. Being easily aggravated by inanimate objects, the "roid rage" is of particular concern to keep an eye on, especially with family and the pressures of running my own business. To give a clear picture, I'm going to try and be as precise (analytical) as possible with regards to: # Sleep patterns Accompanying me on this journey will be Harry Rock ("Rocky"), he's my gym-buddy who will also be carrying out a cycle at the same time. We've been training off and on for a number of years together. He has a background in the fitness industry so will be offering my invaluable advice on training matters. However, in the use of steroids, he is also an un-experienced user, like me, looking to make further progress.
Prior to the steroid usage there are a number of things I need to do: # Get my blood tests done (more on this later) I shall be tracking a number of items (such as sleep patterns, morning body temperature, weight, body fat percentage, etc) in a spreadsheet. I'll upload these periodically to show (hopefully) progress. I shall also be keeping track of my diet on FitDay.com and in addition uploading images of food eaten to this blog as a "food diary". This blog will track that usage, and give an honest account (along with some facts and figures) of the usage as well as documenting any side affects. To re-iterate, I'm not a experience user of steroids, so I'm afraid I won't be able to offer advice on your own intended use of steroids. You'll have to do your own research I'm afraid as I have done over the last 12-months or so. Disclaimer:In no way are we involved in the sale and distribution of steroids. We do not endorse, encourage, or offer advice in terms of using steroids. Steroids are powerful drugs and so are the drugs involved with the post cycle therapy - it's not something to be taken lightly! |
