Well, as mentioned already, I'm happy to report that I'm back down the gym, as-of this evening! We did a chest session today. Unfortunately the gym is in the process of a hand-over so the bumbells had been shipped off elsewhere. However, we were still able to do barbell exercises, pec deck, etc. In fact, we recorded some video of the session for episode 1 that we'll be posting to YouTube (and on here of course). We may also post some of the individual exercises to this blog which we'll talk through. more »

Just had my repeat test results from last Wednesday back (and had another blood test today) - the Wednesday after the previous Friday I had the first blood test (with no exercise done). Had a print off of the results, and they are now as follows ... more »

Still on doctors orders not to do any strenuous exercise until my results are in this Wednesday (see previous posts). Really hoping all comes back well, and I can crack on to the next level! In the meantime, I was looking on YouTube for some inspiration - ready to smash it up on Wednesday! more »

Friday is here, and that means cheat day! The principle being that having a cheat day once a week allows the body to once again have fat, so that it "realises" it's not being starved of fat and therefore doesn't need to store fat. I normally keep my breakfast as per normal and have a cheat lunch and dinner (sometimes just one meal as a cheat). The thing is, it's easy to feel guilty about the cheat food as the concern is your loosing ground on the progress made during the last week of not cheating. Let's hope this principle of cheat days works, as I've not got down to 18% bodyfat and don't want to loose those gains. more »

As mentioned in my previous post, I've had my blood test results back and they show extremely high AST, ALT and CK levels. Hopefully this is due to high protein intake and pushing it too hard at the gym (I found it difficult to walk prior to the test due to leg muscles seized up). Fingers crossed eyh! more »

OK, so the blood results are back. I must admit when I first saw some of the values I was a little startled to say the least (namely the CK [creatinine kinase], AST and ALT values)! My result is shown with the reference range in brackets. The starred results are the ones that are out of range. more »

OK, now for the serious part - there is no point in this experiment without having a structured programme to follow! I.e. no point just going into a gym and lifting as heavy as you can. Without the correct technique you could do yourself some serious long term damage. Warnings out the way! more »

Right, today I went and gave my blood sample to get a base level reading prior to any steroid usage. The reasons for the tests were so I can ensure everything is as it should be post cycle. I might do a test while on the cycle to see how the values vary. more »

This morning I received delivery of my Concept2 PM4 head unit. This accepts a Concept2 LogCard (which the previous PM2+ didn't) which should enable me to track usage a bit better (when I find my Concept2 LogCard that is!). more »

Have just made another supplements order (the 840g tub of MaxiMuscle Cyclone hasn't lastest very long!). To get my amount of protein per day I've been having two scoops of Cyclone per serving (rather than 1) which means I may be having too much Creatine. more »

My picture food diary has now been uploaded. This gives you an idea of my diet so you can see what kind of foods I am eating. As you're probably aware, eating the right food is just as important as the training itself. more »

I now have a confirmed blood test this coming Friday in London. The requirement for the blood test is to get my base level measurements done prior to the steroid cycle. That way, should there be any reason to find out if Post Cycle Therapy (PCT) has or hasn't work as desired, I have my base levels to compare against. more »

Hello and welcome to my first post! I'm Troy ("Woody"). I'll be posting up to my blog here on how my journey into steroids goes. In researching the use of steroids, an honest approach and log of it’s usage was not something I came across. Therefore, the aim of this blog is to give an honest account of that usage. more »
