OK, well, first injection done. Was expecting it to hurt as I pushed the needle in, but before I had really started to apply any pressure the needle had gone in! Really didn't hurt at all.

I must admit that after the injection I did sit for a while and see if any affects started to happen - e.g. feelings of anger and sudden bouts of rage! Nothing to report I'm afraid!

I just followed the instructions on how to inject from the leaflet from the Needle Exchange and what I had read online in the forums. You can find advice on how to inject here:

Basically I'm going for the upper right quadrant of the right buttock (glute). I must admit that I completely forgot to aspirate first to check I hadn't got a vein ... on reading the forums I certainly won't be forgetting this again!
